Vega Refinery is the only bitumen producer in Romania, having over 90 years of experience in this field. Polymer-modified bitumen is distinguished by improved elasticity and higher resistance to deterioration and temperature variations, with a 50% longer service life and the ability to reduce traffic noise.

It is also produced at Vega Refinery and like in Bitumen case is the sole producer of this product in Romania. The major use for solvents containing n-Hexane is to extract vegetable oils from crops such as soybeans. These solvents are also used as cleaning agents in the printing, textile, furniture, and shoemaking industries.
