What makes Rompetrol special to you?

It's my second home. It is also the industry in which I wanted to work since I was 16 years old. It represents my motivation to get where I planned out to be and last but not least, it represents the place where I am evolving as a person, as well as as a chemical engineer.

What fuels your drive?

The fact that every day I learn something new from the challenges which appear in the different fields of activity I interract with, economic, operational or technical issues, in which my skills and knowledge are required and applied.

What do you like most about your team?

The way we help each other. In the P&E department, we have a united team and willing to exceed its limits each and every day.

Which is your biggest achievement in Rompetrol so far?

Successfully completed the overhaul of the Group's two refineries, Petromidia and Vega. Also, the promotion from the position of chemical operator to the position of process engineer, in a very short time.

Which is your key personality trait that helps you overcome hardships and challenges?

Ambition, discovered through a long process of self-evaluation. My motto in life is: "It doesn't matter how many times you fall, it matters how many times you get up".
