KMG International will award 100 scholarships to high school and university students with outstanding results from Bucharest, Constanta and Prahova. Students who are passionate about the oil and gas industry can apply for the program between September 16 and October 20. The results of the selection process will be announced on November 1.

The scholarships, worth USD 1000 each, are offered for one year of study and will be awarded following a rigorous jury evaluation: 50 will be awarded to students enrolled in the internship program of the company, based on their performance evaluation, and the remaining 50 will be offered through the assessment of their applications.

Among the eligibility criteria for applicants, the following are to be mentioned: the average academic score over 8 (for all the years of study), involvement in volunteering activities and a strong desire to develop their career in the energy field (described in a motivational essay). The specializations targeted include chemistry, mechanical engineering, oil and gas engineering, economics, etc. The evaluation of the applications will be done by a mixed jury, composed of company representatives and partner universities’ representatives, with extensive expertise in the energy sector.
