Rominserv S.A. - general contractor of The Rompetrol Group, has been awarded during this year 4 public tenders for the execution of  infrastructure projects (water supply, sewerage),  amounting to a value of 4.4 million USD.

“The successful award of these projects proves Rominserv ability to adapt its services to the rural and urban infrastructure rehabilitation and development needs, in accordance with EU applicable quality standards. Joining up production capabilities of Palplast (i.e. polyetylene pipes and fittings) and of Rominserv Zalau Branch (i.e.industrial valves,other industrial parts), Rominserv is able to provide , as general contractor, professional solutions for various projects in this field” states the company’s general manager, Victor Popovici.

At the end of last month, the company has been awarded the public tender for a centralized “turn key” sewerage system in the locality Crişeni (Sălaj County), which consists of the execution of  of a sewerage piping system with a total length of 21 km, as well as of three waste water treatment plants, which will serve the villages of Crişeni, Cristur and Garceiu. The project value contract is 1.6 million USD, and the completion deadline is December 2008.

At the same time, Rominserv has under execution  the projects for rehabilitation and development of potable water supply systems in the localities Iordăcheanu and Gura Vitrioarei (Prahova County), Brăeşti and Cristeşti (Iaşi County), the total contract value of these projects being of approximately 2.8 million USD.
Among similar projects executed by Rominserv in the past years, it has to be mentioned the potable water suplly projects in Năvodari (2002) and Turcoaia – Tulcea County (2004).

The company opened in March 2007 a branch in Bulgaria, both for implementing the projects within the Rompetrol Group, and for expanding the clients’ portfolio. Thus, Rominserv may better offer to the Bulgarian clients  its specific general contractor services or industrial maintenance services, as well as industrial equipment and parts.

Rominserv estimates for this year a turnover of approximately 130 million USD,  i.e. 20% increase towards 2006 that was supported by continuos development  of activity and enlargement of clients portofolio in the field of industrial maintenance services, as well as “turn key” execution of industrial projects, technological modernizations and infrastructure networks.
