KMG International (Rompetrol) Group introduces the new concept “hei” station under Rompetrol brand in the Republic of Moldova, as part of its strategy to consolidate and develop its profile activities in the Black Sea region. Today, its local subsidiary, Rompetrol Moldova, opened the first Rompetrol station with hei&coffee concept in Chisinau, located on 54/1 Dacia Street, the city exit towards the airport.


“This station is a first for the Republic of Moldova. Our objective is to maintain the quality standard of the fuels that we have accustomed our customers to since the introduction of the Rompetrol brand in the Republic of Moldova and to expand the current network in accordance with the company's development ambitions. The new station allowed the creation of 20 new jobs as well as the involvement of local suppliers in its modernization”, said Bulat Rakhmetov, General Director of Rompetrol Moldova.

With a total area of about 1,245 square meters, the new station offers customers a store of over 210 square meters that offers food and non-food products, a cafe area of about 110 square meters for serving products from the hei&coffee range and an outdoor terrace where customers can benefit from a wide range of products available. The total number of seats available in the cafe and on the terrace is 76.

The station has 3 fueling points for cars and a modern lighting system with LED technology that ensures low energy consumption. The construction works were carried out in accordance with the defining elements of the hei&coffee retail concept introduced by KMG International in Rompetrol network. The Rompetrol station with hei&coffee offers a specialty coffee shop and a premium convenience store - a modular concept offering original and refreshing products. It is a contemporary concept with refreshing and natural products, caring both for the environment and for local producers.

The station's customers can benefit from high-quality oil products: Premium 95 gasoline, Premium 95, Efix 95 gasoline, Euro 5 diesel, Efix diesel, Efix S55 diesel, and in a short time they will have a liquefied petroleum gas skid (LPG) at their disposal. The products sold are provided by the Petromidia refinery, the largest refinery in Romania and one of the most modern in South-Eastern Europe.

With the inauguration of this station, the total number of Rompetrol gas stations in the city of Chisinau reached 44 and 94 stations at the level of the Republic of Moldova.  The total number of the employees at national level of Rompetrol Moldova is around 1.000 persons.
