By the end of 2016, the company has planned to expand the network in Romania with 9 other new filling stations.

“The continuation of the development of the planned projects represents a factor of stability that we want to keep within our local business, and the distribution segment is an important part due to direct interaction we have with our partners and consumers. Currently, there are averagely 60.000-80.000 of clients that visit us daily. All the measures taken during the modernization of the filling stations have ensured an increase in the number of people who visited Rompetrol filling stations - with 30% in June compared with the beginning of 2016. The fuels, produced at Petromidia refinery, are highly appreciated by our clients, which means a lot for our colleagues from the refinery” stated Catalin Dumitru, the Vice President of KMG International.

The two new filling stations are located in Orsova, 3 Splaiul Tufari Str., and in Sibiu, Vasile Milea Av., having an average of 15 employees each. Thus, the defining elements of the concept of filling stations launched by the company at the end of 2013 are preserved, respectively elements of the new visual identity (Rompetrol logo) and transformation of the interior space into a modern style to offer customers a pleasant and relaxing experience.

In terms of filling stations modernization, the works were completed at 130 filling stations out of which at 91 filling stations the interior space was modernize having a hey store, and there are 2 filling stations which have been totally reconstructed (Vistea - DN1, km 255, Brasov county), Ploiesti, sos. de Centura, Prahova county.

Besides the facilities that already exist in Rompetrol network – Efix products range, Fill&Go - the payment service at the pump, Hey restaurant - Rompetrol filling stations are equipped with the most advanced pumps. Due to the interior-exterior lighting system and signage with LED technology, the power consumption has been reduced by 20%.
