Rompetrol Downstream – the retail company of The Rompetrol Group launches today Fill&Go Vehicle Control – a GPS-based integrated vehicle fleet monitoring solution. The new service doesn't imply any investments made by clients, as they will only pay a monthly subscription, in compliance with fleet size. Also, Rompetrol Downstream has prepared a very competitive commercial offer, allowing fleet clients to benefit from significant discounts, in line with purchased amount of fuel.
Fill&Go Vehicle Control allows company fleet administrators to find out vehicle positions, routes, mileage covered, moving speeds, and routes history. In the event of failure to observe the clients’ pre-established procedures, the system automatically notifies the situation via SMS or e-mail. Access to and configuration of system is done via a web-based interface from any internet-connected computer, upon user name and password.
“Thanks to the introduction of Fill&Go Vehicle Control, the Rompetrol division becomes the first company in the country providing integrated business solutions. We’re the only on the market with such an offer. At present, Rompetrol Downstream counts 7000+ fleet clients. Said figure saw a 20% boost vs. last year, to a large extent because of the introduction of new services in support of their operations. We forecast a 25% rise of fleet clients by year end, especially clients holding big fleets and requiring periodic and systematic control of vehicles,” stated Eric Kish, vice-president of the Retail Business Unit of The Rompetrol Group.
Fill & Go was launched in Romania in 2004. Currently, all filling stations Rompetrol Downstream operated throughout the country are fitted with the "Fill&Go Business” (“Fill&Go Card” and “Fill&Go Ring”) service intended for high-performance management of company fleets. Also, the service was recently introduced in Bulgarian and French Rompetrol filling stations.
As to natural entities, Rompetrol also offers “Fill & Go Personal” in Romania, which is a fast payment instrument, aimed at avoiding cash register crowds. Furthermore, it is convenient - since payment is made only once a month – and particularly safe, since it allows for control of each and every transaction.
At present, Rompetrol Downstream is operating a +350-strong filling stations network nationwide, and is the first company to have marketed exclusively Euro-standards compliant fuels since 2003. Also, Rompetrol Downstream is the first company in the industry to introduce the new 2% biodiesel fuel, which protects engines, observes European EN 14214 quality standards, and furthermore leads to diminished emissions of hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide.
