Rompetrol Moldova, a KMG International local distribution company, opened a new filling station in Chisinau, the 11th station opened from the beginning of 2016.
The company operates a network of 76 points of distribution and plans to open two new stations in the following period.
The station is located in Chisinau, on 14 Trandafirilor Street.
With more than half of the stations located in the capital city Chisinau, Rompetrol Moldova has the best coverage in Chisinau being a leader in the region in comparison with other important operators on the Republic of Moldova oil products market.
The construction works were carried in accordance with the defining elements of the distribution concept launched by KMG International in Romania in 2013.
The station has a shop with a rich selection of food and non-food products and is endowed with modern equipment, fast pumps with multimedia systems that satisfy the needs of clients and a modern lightning system using LED technology allowing reduced energy consumption.
The clients benefit from oil products of the highest quality: premium RON 95 gasoline, Efix RON 95 gasoline, Euro 5 diesel, Efix diesel, Efix S 55 diesel and soon LPG products, all produced at Petromidia refinery, the largest refinery in Romania and one of the most modern in south-eastern Europe.
As a result of opening 11 stations this year, Rompetrol Moldova contributed in creating 120 work places.
Rompetrol Moldova has been present on the local market since 2012 and has over 700 employees. It is situated in the top largest importers in the Republic of Moldova and in top 3 retail fuel distributors on the local market. Also it is the first oil company in the Republic of Moldova that has implemented the Integrated Management System for quality (ISO 9001:2008), environment (ISO 14001:2004), occupational health and safety (ISO 18001:2007).
Besides the 75 distributions stations, the company also operates 4 own LPG stations, a petroleum storage facility in Kishinev and an LPG storage facility in the village of Târnova, Donduşeni county.
In 2015, Rompetrol Moldova paid customs taxes and VAT, contributions to the pension and health funds of approximately USD 30 million.
The company intends to continue expanding the network and modernizing existing stations, including the opening of new shops within stations that will allow consolidating the leading position on the Republic of Moldova market.
